Due to the specific geographic situation of Hallstatt, guests are not allowed to enter town with their car.
The recommended parking lot for guests *P1* is directly next to the road B166. Driving from Munich, Salzburg, Vienna, Prague ... you follow B166. Once you pass the tunnel, slow down because you just entered town, and continue approximately half a mile until you spot the sign for *P1* on your right side, just after the petrol station.
Pull a ticket called "Hotelticket" if you want to take the Shuttle to the center (where our guesthouse is situated right on the medieval market square). If you prefer walking into town (about a mile, 10-20min), pull a "Parkticket".
The Parking fee is euro 9.- per day, euro 6.- per day from day 4.
At Check out, the Shuttle takes you back to your car every half hour from the market square, first shuttle at 08.30am, last shuttle at 11.00am.
