Susanna Scheutz is running Gasthof Simony since 1977. Before that she was working there for her parents, who inherited the place in the 1940ies. For the last two decades, the restaurant was let to rent while the Bed and Breakfast is run as a family business by family Scheutz.

Some of our rooms are furnished using Zirbenholz (Swiss stone pine, a local tree now under environmental protection), some are in an old German traditional style and others in Biedermeier styles.

Some of the rooms have balconies facing the lake. The big rooms with alcoves face the middle-age market-place (square) and the baroque Catholic Church. In the morning, a rich buffet with hot and cold beverages awaits you.

Enjoy the beautiful wintertime in our region, Salzkammergut! Family Scheutz will also be happy to welcome you for your hiking trip!

To further your comfort, we suggest to arrive by train since our small World Heritage Town does not provide parking space in the center. Please use one of the four Parking lots around the center for a small fee.
